Halifax ALTA Gymnastics Club will be holding recruiting sessions for both the Girls and Boys Developmental/Competitive Program for the 2023-2024 year on June 11, 2023.  

If accepted into the developmental/competitive program, classes would begin in September 2023.  This program emphasizes technique, structure, and skill development, and requires a time commitment. If you are interested in having your son/daughter evaluated, please see below for details regarding the recruiting sessions and the programs. More information will be sent out to those who register in August 2023. 

Space is limited. We are currently looking for boys and girls in the following birth years 2013-2018. Please remember that this recruiting session does not guarantee your child will be selected to join the program.  To give you an idea of the time commitment, please see the chart below. These training hours are not finalized and subject to change, if selected the final days and times will be circulated in a registration package.

Session 1: 2016-2018 Birth Years (11:00-11:45)

Session 2: 2016-2018 Birth Years (12:00-12:45) 

Session 3: 2016-2018 Birth Years (1:00-1:45)

Session 4: 2013-2015 Birth Years (2:00-2:45)

Cost:

$25.00 per athlete trying out, paid during registration via the online system only.

Registration:

Registration will open on Thursday June 1st at 6pm. To register for the evaluation, please log into your account via our website by June 9th, 2023. There are maximum of 18 athletes per recruiting session for WAG and 9 for MAG.
